How can I change the resolution to 1200*860?
Re: Resolution
Hi,
You can change your screen resolution following this guidance http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wind ... resolution.
Specific resolutions may or may not be possible depending on the size of monitor you are using.

Re: Resolution
Thank you very much. my Macbook is 13 inch with 1280*800 resolution.I moved the slider and reached to 1280*600 or 1074*768
instead of 1152*864 that IES needs.

Re: Resolution
remember on a Mac it is the Console of the Virtual Machine (or whatever variant you use) that you need to set the resolution on rather than on the Macbook display properties. Having said that it may just be that the screen you have can't support that resolution (if it's quite small then we could be stuck).
One other trick in that case would be to edit DPI settings so you can achieve a better display.
The reason for the pop up when you launch VE on a lower resolution screen is that you will find some dialogs don't fit on the screen, check for example Building Template Manager or Room Data (thermal/energy views) to ensure the dialogs fit for your screen setup and that you can see the ok/cancel buttons at the bottom of the screen.
If your laptop screen doesn't support the required resolution you could consider using an external second monitor and then ensure you acquire one with required spec. http://www.iesve.com/software/download- ... height=80%
