HVAC Automatic sizing

Post by myope »

I wish "Apache automatic sizing" can run in full year dynamic simulation (new option) ! Current sizing method does not meet our requirement when running with tropical climate, HVAC cooling devices are sometime too small, peak load issue in winter

I'm afraid I don't know enough about the auto sizing to be able to comment if this is something that should be working or a common challenge. Off the top of my head if you find the auto sizing isn't meeting your requirements then you could adjust the design weather data used in the loads calcs or else try adjusting the oversizing factors in ApacheHVAC network to give a little more flexibility.
