water source heat exchanger as heat rejection

Post by cmchugh »

I'm attempting to model a condensing loop which only uses ground-water as it's heat rejection; it has no cooling tower or fluid cooler. Ideally I'd be able to just replace the heat rejection equipment with a water-source heat exchanger, but I can't seem to find any way to do that, only put it as pre-cooling. A ground-water heat pump, which I've found reference to in literature but can't find in the program itself, would work for my model IF it can be a water-to-water heat pump as there's still a chilled water loop feeding distributed fan coils in the system.
Does anyone have any thoughts on either of these approaches (chiller with water-source heat exchanger or ground-water water-to-water heat pump)?
