light duct simulation

hey everybody,

I've tried many simulation software to examine the effect of adding light ducts to a specific space, but no one gave me logical results. I've read that some researchers used IES for doing that. anyone has an idea how can I model then on IES?? can I just borrow them from autocad??

please help, its urgent
