ASHRAE Navigator- Failed to load HVAC network

Hello,

When I do the System load calculations in the sizing runs I keep getting an error ,message 'Failed to load HVAC network'file and then the pathway to 270Deg baseline

The result files, obviously, show 0 in all values

Why could that be?

I'm not sure what would cause this but maybe some error occurred which meant the variants were never created, you may need to step further back through the Navigator (maybe to Generate Baseline, perhaps even further) to make sure they are generated properly so that when you run the sizing calcs everything is ready for each load calc etc

The cause was Dropbox which was syncing the files as they were created and restricted access to them.

that's odd, I've not heard of that before.

Has anyone else experienced this? For reference what did you do to resolve?

I paused the sync on dropbox while running the calculations.

Problem solved.
