Hi,
I'm tracing a building model using a DXF drawing. I have already construct a building model using its layout in DXF format.
I'm trying to include the adjacent buildings using the overall plan layout which is also in DXF format. but when i attach the DXF drawing of the overall layout the north of the overall plan and the building model I have already drawn is different.
How should I rotate and re-position the DXF drawing of the over all layout to match to the existing north?
Kindly advise.
Best regards,
Kumudini
Rotating and repositioning a DXF drawing
Re: Rotating and repositioning a DXF drawing
You have option to "Move DXF" to position it over existing geometry but not to Rotate, you should just rotate the existing rooms to fit over the DXF, draw the adjacent building and then when you are finished drawing you can rotate model (or edit Site rotation) again
