The summertime overheating aspect of this is obvious. But I was just wandering how people approach the modeling for the winter conditions.The modelling demonstrates that the building design and services strategy can deliver thermal
comfort levels in occupied spaces in accordance with the criteria set out in CIBSE Guide A
Environmental Design; in particular that internal winter and summer temperature ranges will be in
line with the recommended comfort criteria in table 1.5 of the Guide.
By default, IES assumes infinite heating plant capacity. Should radiator sizes etc. be included in the model to evaluate the internal temperatures in winter?
What measures should be taken to process the results to justify the credit?
