Site Energy vs. Source Energy

Post by richardd »

Is there an output somewhere in the VE that shows the values for both source energy and site energy?

Way back when I was running on the 30-day free trial I did some comparative simulations and I documented values for both site energy and source energy from the different simulation runs in my report. But now I can't find the location where I got the numbers.

Thank you.

I don't know that anything in VE would have reported this breakdown fo ryou but if you check in Vista you'll see that it does give breakdowns by end uses so maybe that's what you used previously and hopefully you either have a note of what conventions you used or else you make consistent decisions this time.

For example use of renewables will give the electricity (e.g.) generated by PVs or a CHP system
