Building cooling & heating summary Latent load is not shown

Post by Lemcarr »

hi,

I'm wondering why the latent load is not shown in summary, I have a latent load in my internal gain, but it is not picked by the summary. it always show zero

thanks

Hi,

You should check your room thermal templates to ensure you have some humidity controls specified in the room conditions tab

Hi there,

If we do not have any dehumidification or humidification proposed (so we keep the percentage saturation lower limit at 0% and higher limit at 100%) does IES take into account the sensible and latent internal gains when sensible cooling loads are selected?

Or because we have not specified a humidity target, IES ignores anything to do with latent gains.
