Dear all,
I am trying to reduce my g-value! When I change the outer pane to reduce the g value from 0.4 to 0.3, however, when changing the outer pane to something with less transmittance, it effects on the u value and make increase on u value!
Is this normal or I am doing something wrong?
I appreciate your help.
Regards,
Sidny

Have a look at the Pilkington's SunCool Data Sheet and manipulate the data accordingly, or apply one of their pane types from the constructions database.
You may need to also manipulate the cavity to get the desired U-value, (or the frame resistances).
It's always a bit of a fiddle to get the correct g and U values as designed for.
