External and internal simulation

Post by paolabri »

Dear IES-VE Users,
I am a student at the University of Pisa and I am currently working at my dissertation at the University of Brighton. I am using IES and i have created a CFD model. I have a problem with the internal and the external simulation. In the internal simulation i have defined two boundary conditions, one general supply diffuser and one extract diffuser. In the internal simulation is possible to see that they are working correctly, in the external simulation is not possible to see this conditions. All the openings are closed and i can't see the flow. Do you know if it is possible to see the same results also in the external simulation? Thank you so much.

your windows are probably set to be closed all the time. Make sure you have appropriate profiles assigned to them.

Unfortunately, you cannot see internal results in external simulation for MicroFlo. even if the opening is set to 'open', MicroFlo external simulation will model it as a closed.
