RadianceIES v2017 Hotfix_1 Component Issues

I'm having issues with the Radiance module when trying to run a simulation with components.
The Tasks show the simulation complete almost instantly and if one tries to select the image.pic file on the "View Image" tab the software generates a "Failed to create thumbnail - selected file may be corrupt. Delete this file?" Error Dialog Box. The details of the .pic are all over the map and not consistent with the Sky/Eye settings.

If I un-check the "Use Components" box, without making any other changes, the calculation runs fine.

Has the workflow for inserting and simulating components changed in the new version of IES?

We had a similar problem. Our workarounfd for this was to edit the Components so that one component only have one color, multiple colors affect an index within the .rad file for the component which somehow managed to cause the error.
