SunCast - Annual Probable Sunlit hours

Hi,

I am conducting a daylight/sunlight assessment on residential buildings surrounded by a proposed Hotel. I am trying to calculate the Annual Probable Sunlit Hours as set out in BRE 209.

I have extracted a report from SunCast > Calculations > Annual Probable Sunlit Hours, which present the results for monthly, annually, summer and winter values. There are no units on this table, so I am wondering if the units are ''annual probable hours /year'' or ''% annual probable hours /year''. Also, I would like to know if the values are for the complete external surface or just the opening areas (windows, doors).

If anyone can get back to me on this it would e very much appreciated.
