Modelling Room Pressurization

Works in conjunction with ApacheSim to provide effective modelling of conventional/advanced HVAC systems, operation and control.

Modelling Room Pressurization

Post by jchia199 »

Hi All

Wondering if anyone has tried to model in the effects of pressurizing a room, whether it be positive or negative? I understand that macroflo and of course ApacheHVAC must be enabled when running ApacheSIM but if anyone has been able to do so, can you share how you did it in ApacheHVAC?

Cheers

In my experience, VEpro gets very unhappy with unbalanced flows. You'll see "Negative Flow" errors at the effected Nodes when you run simulations on you HVAC networks.

Hope others have a workaround as these errors can be a nuisance when variances in pressures are desired (Often)
