Hi all,
I understand that to get accurate volume calculation using the inner volumes feature, tracing must be done through the center-line of interior walls and the outer side of exterior walls.
However, most architectural backgrounds do not show the center-line for interior walls and tracing the rooms in ModelIT becomes difficult if we want to be precise and trace following the center-line for interior walls.
Is there an easy and practical way of getting the center-line of walls in a DXF?
Thanks,

Re: How to get centerlines in DXF?
When drawing the center lines in the Cad, you can adjust the grid setting in such a way that the grid should match to the center line of a wall. You can then trace the lines at the center and using same grid setting in the VE then after. However, a very précised measurement for drawing center lines is not possible and that involves the grid settings under Cad software.
