The dialogue for defining PV, CHP etc. has changed in 2017, no longer an 'earth' symbol, but a somewhat sinister looking 'lightning bolt'.
But I cannot find any documentation that describes this new method. In particular I cannot work out how the PV tab works, and specifically I don't understand the distinction between parametric and free standing panels, and I don't seem to be able to change the type of panel (the drop down box doesn't drop down).
I can't find any documentation that describes how this new dialogue works. Does anyone have a link?

Have a look at Section 9 of the User Manual found here.

Yep. There it is. I think I was looking in the compliance docs.
Many thanks.

Re: 'Electricity Generators' VE 2017 - Documentation?
Another little problem here.
This time not with defining PVs but with defining and applying a heat matching profile to a CHP plant.
I've defined the CHP but wish to limit its run-time to 17 hours a day, so I have a daily modulating profile where it is off from 00:00 to 07:00. This is applied to each day of a weekly profile.
In the CHP dialogue I can select the weekly profile but when the simulation is run there is an error dialogue at the initial stage saying 'CHP profile; no definition found for profile WEEK 0605'.
Is this a bug?

I'm also having this problem regarding a CHP profile. Did you ever resolve the issue?
