Trouble With Templates Not Saving

I am a new VE user (just started this week with it) so forgive my ignorance but I am having an issue with my construction templates not being saved after I create them. I have created new roof, exterior wall and window constructions and applied them to a new construction template.

In Building Template Manager, I click save then ok and everything is fine, I can query spaces and verify that the correct constructions are applied. But when I close VE, and open it up the following day, all of the constructions have been reset to default. I have verified this is happening everytime I close and then restart VE. Any idea as to why my construction template will not keep my settings? I have also created new thermal templates, and my settings there are retained properly, so I am confused as to why this is happening. Obviously, this is not ideal having to re-assign construction types to the template for any project file I open.
