Changing the layer of a number of objects

Hopefully a simple one. Is there a way to change the layer of more than one objects in ModelIt?
I've been able to change the layer of individual objects by clicking on the object and changing its properties in the bottom right hand corner. Is there a way to change a number of objects at the same time?

there is a button called 'edit attributes for selected spaces', that will do what you require, check ModelIT user guide if you have trouble finding it (I find it hard to describe the toolbar buttons they all look the same)
