Ive done a lot of partitioning on a model and I have just noticed that one of the ceilings within the building shows as an external wall. Is there a way to change this? The software generally identifies internal/external well, but on this occasion it will not recognise that the ceiling is within the building.
Could this be a result of all the partitioning and connecting I have done?
External wall inside the buildng
Re: External wall inside the buildng
Might be related tot he partitioning but generally when an adjacency is not identified correctly by the software it is because you have geometry errors. The ModelIT check report will give further information on areas you can look at (look out for intersections, non-planar surfaces and unmatched adjacencies).

If you always snap to grid when modelling you are much less likely to have these kinds of problems to tidy up.
Also a ceiling being picked up as an external wall? If so you might need to look at the Vertical-Horizontal transition angle (also found under ModelIT Settings menu >> Model...)
