changing material has no effect to conduction gain?

hi there, I am trying to monitor conduction gain through rooflight by changing materials, but the graph produced the same results, can you pleas help me? :(

what are you changing? are you sure you are changing the materials of the Construction assigned in the model? are you changing properties that are relevant to the conduction gain (check the calculation methods for additional detail if necessary)? When running the sims for comparison ensure you don't overwrite the previous results so you can compare them side by side in Vista

Hello newuser91,

You haven't done something quite right here because you would definitely be seeing a difference - even IES wouldn't miss something like that! :D

I've shown a simple example here where I have two rooms and I change the material of the partition between them (1=high uVal, 2-low uVal) and you can clearly see a change as one would expect.

My best guess is, as Phil has pointed to as well, You have changed a material but it is not used in the construction applied.
