Additional Controls Needed with Additional Multiplex?

Post by mtay813 »

I am currently building an IES model that uses the exhaust air to condition less critical spaces in a building. As such I need to add zones that will be receiving the conditioned air from the exhaust path of my system. I created a room and drew a multiplex around it and then added my zones to the multiplex. Unfortunately, when running the system there is a failure at the node to the entrance of the additional multiplex. It says that "Flow at node 28/ cannot be set - insufficient control definition." I am not sure what additional controls need to be included?

Hi,

Every air flow path has to have flow controlled, when you added the rooms on the exhaust branch just check where the flow controllers are and ensure the HVAC network is being told where to send the air as it won't know to balance this naturally in the way MacroFlo would via openings, you to have to specify this

If you look at system library many of the prototype systems have this set up as an example
