Distribution Fan Energy

Post by waelt17 »

Hi,

I have a model of a villa In Dubai and i used DX ducted AC system in ApHVAC and made a yearly profile so that the cooling is off in the 3 winter months.
but i'm facing a problem when looking at the results as it seems that Distribution fan energy is consuming 2MWh monthly even though the actual numbers of electrical consumption per month in total is less than this number during the winter.
All i need is to find out how can i switch off the distribution fan in the winter so that the electrical consumption make sense.
Is there an option anywhere or a profile for the fan?

Thanks in advance

What have you tried so far? The typical way to control fan flow is by an airflow controller, where you can apply a profile. It sounds like you might have other issues with your controls though.
