Apache Sim won't let me simulate

I'm fairly new to VE and am trying to run a simulation on a model that I inherited from somebody else. I'm working through the ASHRAE 90.1 PRM Navigator and I've followed it through, but when I try to run the Full RPM Simulation, the 'Simulate' button is greyed out and won't let me press it. Is there some obvious fix that I'm just completely missing?

It could be your licence keys, do you have a key for ApacheSim and ApacheEngine? check Help menu Licence Control and Troubleshooting >> Decrypt Keys to ensure you have a licence for ApacheSim.

The IES keys team can assist with this if you are unsure

The license is fine. I've run full simulations on other projects. I'm bnot sure what the issue is, but I just ran through the navigator again, and it worked. Thanks though!

the workflow script navigators have some actions that are dependent on other actions having been completed first.
They are also just little scripts (html or xml or php is my bet) that don't know how to interrogate the current model file so it has to be either a locked license (you say it isn't so count that out) or a previous step hasn't been done (or it's been done and not remembered by the model).
check your previous steps have been done (repeat as many as you can without taking too much time) and it'll enable or my name isn't hugo van longendong.

ah yes, thanks Zap I didn't see that possibility. Yes you likely haven't completed an earlier action, you need to do the actions and then tick them to mark as done so the Navigator will open up the next step(s)
