What to do when VE crashes

Post by jerry »

When VE crashes- and as all users know, this is pretty common - this is what you need to do:

TELL IES ABOUT IT

It seems obvious but the developers are only going to start taking this problem seriously once they understand how much of a problem it is, and how much it annoys their paying customers that their damn software is so unreliable.

Email feedback@iesve.com *every single time* VE crashes. It doesn't take long, and it lets them know there's a problem.

Hi Jerry,

Sorry we cleared tens of thousands of spam post so now just seeing the legitimate posts.

For this I would say if you get a crash then your first step should be to email support@iesve.com, if possible provide an archive of your project and a list of steps to reproduce the crash. If a crash is a software issue then technical support will log that with development for investigation.

Feedback@iesve.com should be reserved for any suggestions for project managers, features or anything else you would like changed in the software. Technical Support do not see these emails.

Thanks
