I have a model which was created in 2017. When I import it into the current version of VE and run a model check it produces an error free model report. The same is true when I rebuild adjacencies and re-check.
When I make a geometry change on this model (partitioning a room on the basement level) and re-run model check, it again produces an error free model report. However, if I now rebuild adjacencies and re-run the check I get a load of intersection errors, not only on the basement floor but on other floors as well. This is not only ridiculous, but it is unacceptable as it means I cannot work on this model without undertaking substantial, time-consuming deleting and redrawing work. There is clearly a problem with Model-IT that needs to be resolved urgently as it is causing errors to occur on previously OK models.

Model-IT produced intersection errors for previously OK model
Re: Model-IT produced intersection errors for previously OK model
I feel you jerry! I took over a project that had an error-free report previously only to find, when running the "ASHRAE Baseline Constructions", that it actually has more than 40 intersection errors and around 20 unmatched adjacencies. This probably triggered rebuild feature and stuff happened.
Now I need to go into a highly complex model and sort this out by redrawing the problematic spaces... unless someone else has a quick fix?
