OSM Download Error
Re: OSM Download Error
I have encountered similar problem and yet to find a solution. I have even tried to down load the map from open street map and convert in to shp and gml files but it did not work. I can not get the elevations right from open street map. They are all over the place. If anyone knows how to fix this the please let me know.

Re: OSM Download Error
Some users have been experiencing issues connecting to the OSM servers. This is an error on 3rd party Open Street Map hosting itself which we are not able to resolve but we are liaising with their team to find some solution and restore the service. I do not know when this will be resolved.
There was previously an error related to OSM that was resolved by running IESFix. You could try running this in case it resolves your issue.
Browse to your VE installation folder, typically at C:\Program Files (x86)\IES\VE 2017\apps
Locate IESFix.exe
Run as administrator
When this completes there will be a confirmation, click ok to dismiss.

Re: OSM Download Error
I'm working in IES2018 now and was getting the same error. The IESFix.exe resolved the problem. Thank you!

Re: OSM Download Error
My OSM Maps has stopped working a few times over the last couple of years, I presume this is because when the software updates to a new version, the fix IESFix.exe needs to be run each time?
