Room Loads Report

Post by daki »

Hello fellows,

Can someone tell me where do Room Setpoint (design) and Room (actual) temperatures in the Room Loads Report are coming from and to which parameters are linked to (see below)?
Thanks!

Hi,

I believe that Room Setpoint (design) comes from either the set point set in space data or the HVAC System Parameters dialog depending on whether an HVAC System is used to model the room.

Room (actual) comes from the air temperature variable in the results file at the reported peak time.

It looks like you might have your heating operation profile set to 'off continuously'.

Thanks Rhind, much appreciated. This room is set on OFF continuously for heating mode. I asked the question because I have seen a lot of discrepancies between the report and what is actually set in the HVAC system so I am trying to figure it out where it is actually coming from. If there's a prototype HVAC system it's going to take the setpoint that's in the system parameters configuration, but if there is not then it will return the setpoint value from the space condition settings if I understood you correctly?
