Unmatched adjacencies after creating inner volumes

I have created the geometry without generating the inner volumes. I check the model report and there are no errors. As soon as I create inner volumes for the rooms/spaces, there are hundreds of unmatched adjacencies in the model report.

What is the reason? What is the solution?

Hi Khyati,

This is something we have covered previously. See the my response on that one -

I have investigated into your model further comparing model in VE 2018 and VE 2019 versions and I can see the same issues what you have observed there. Our development and QA team had few projects undertaken related same issues reported by few customers previously and we then made these few geometry improvements in our VE2019 version which seems to have resolved the geometry issues reported in VE 2019 after turning the inner volumes.

I think, running your model in latest VE2019 would give you better simulation resulst comparing issues in VE 2018. I would also suggest you to have a look at releasing notes from the link copied below to get details on issues have addressed in VE 2019-
