Zero solar energy

Post by khyatiip »

When I run the solar energy analysis, part of my roof has zero solar energy. Consequently, the solar gain for the same is zero afterrunning apachesim. I tried the rebuild keyin but it made no difference. I do not understand why only that part of the roof has zero energy. The constructions assigned to the entire roof is the same.

What can be done? What is the reason?

When you run the Solar Exposure Analysis does it return zero hourly/percentage results for that part of the roof as well?

Surprisingly, no. A different area has zero exposure which has solar energy. Attaching a photo

Curious indeed.

I suggest you contact our support team with more information such as the VE version you are using and the model itself so we can take a look.

You can do so here: http://www.iesve.com/support/contact
