Hot Water

Post by bootsam »

The SBEM tool is giving me odd hot water figures. When I have the same building and apply 3 different heating scenarios, all using instant elec hot water heaters; the elec heating (rads) and the LTHW heating (rads) give me a constant hot water figure from the brukl. But when I use a heat pump serving rads my hot water (although still elec instant DHW) is 3.5 times less than previous. Which coincides with my cop. Thus i conclude it thinks my hot water is served by a heat pump. Whats going on?

create a separate hot water system so you can keep the heat source and all other parameters consistent and vary the heating system as you are, this will remove all doubt for you.
