Green Facades

I am a graduate student seeking some advice on how to build a green facade in ModelIT. I am trying to replicate an experiment conducted at the University of Maryland and determine if I can use IES-VE to reasonably approximate the effects of a green facade. The green facade system is made from steel trellis modules which support creeping vines. The modules are fastened to the building.

I am not sure how to replicate the partial-resistance to air movement, the shading factor and the evaporative cooling of the plants, or if there is a suitable alternative ?
