How to Model External Shading Devices on Windows
Hi, I am trying to model a small building which includes louvres as external shading devices. How can I add the model and parameters of a louvre to the model itself? Also there is a mentioned input dialog in the help section of IES VE. I'll put the picture down below. How can I get that input dialog?

Re: How to Model External Shading Devices on Windows
Hi
Two ways of doing this.
Firstly you can draw louvres explicitly as 'local shading'. These objects are green and will cast shadows if SunCast is run. Fiddly - but looks cool.
Secondly they can be defined implicitly in the window construction properties via the dialogue you have posted. This can be found from the 'external shade ?' on the 'shading devices' tab of the relevant window construction in the constructions database.
