I have error V1.06 which says there is an error where shading file does not match the model. Cause: error in [location].
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Re: Error Reading Shading File
Hi Laz,
Can you try setting faster calcs setting to off to complete the suncast sim and load the results ? See if that helps?
Regards,
Rishikesh

Similar issue here
I have the same issue with SunCast.
When I use the fast calculation method, the calculations run without error message, but when I want to view the results I get an error message:
- I saved all files on a local folder instead of a network folder
- I started IESVE as administrator
- I have reduced the size of the model and centred it over the origin
- I have deleted existing shading files from the SunCast Folder
- I have created a model report, but it didn’t find any problems.
- Also I have tried some key-in commands to repair flawed geometry, such as: clipopenings, build, model, rebuild, rmh, tidy, tidysurfs and tidyunbound, but without success.
- I exported the geometry to a GEM-file and imported it into a new file.
Do you have any suggestions what else I could do to make Sun Cast run properly?
When I use the fast calculation method, the calculations run without error message, but when I want to view the results I get an error message:
I get the same error message when I want to run the solar exposure analysis, followed by a second error message:V.107 Shading File does not match Model
Cause: error in [Windows] header.
You will need to rerun the Solar Shading Calculation
When I use the slow calculation method, SunCast stops short before completion of the calculation and gives me an error message:An error occured while processing Shading results.
Cannot continue.
After that SunCast freezes and I don't get out of it any more. Error message:A false argument was found
I have tried many suggestions from the forum, but none of these worked:Ve module switching is not available at the moment
