FlucsDL calculation methods for daylight BREEAM2016

Post by agnieszkaJWA »

FlucsDL allowes to choose one of three calculation methods: point-by-point plus radiosity, ray tracing or daylight coefficient. So far I've used the first one, but becasue calculation time I need quicker method. If I want to perform simulation in accordance with BREEAM 2016 requirements which method is recommended? What is the difference between them? I understand that point-by-point method take a lot of time becasue of its specification, so can I use one of two other methods instead? It seems that results are similar, but not as accurate as point-by-point method.
