Error when starting ApacheSim (Dynamic Simulation)!

Post by DavidS »

Hi all,

With a specific VE file, I have an error message poping up every time I start the simulation (ApacheSim):
ProcessSimulation::ps_loadComponentDB - error

Code: Select all

[/i]

Of course, I have no idea what it means. Although the simulation is still running and the results seem consistent, I still would like to know what it means and try to get rid of it.
The only think "different" I did with that file is that I imported thermal templates from a similar project and I copied an ApacheHVAC file right in the software roots.

Any idea?!

Thanks a lot for you answer!

Hi David,

I have not seen that error before, if it is still appearing for you then please send a copy of the model to http://upload.iesve.com and we will have someone investigate further.

Hi Markus,

Have a look in your project folder, this error can appear when you have two projects in the same project folder (i.e. two sets of the files .mit, .clg etc). To resolve open your project as normal then use the VE function File >> Save As to create a newly named version of your project and VE will copy over all the current project files and clean up the project directory for you.
