Hi all,
Can anyone offer some advise on how to model underfloor heating. Is it as simple as changing the room system radiant fraction (using a value of 0.5 as IES guidance)??????
Thanks Richard

Re: Modelling Underfloor Heating
Hey Richardo,
I have modelled the underfloor heating in a couple of ways, however the method that I found that gives me the most control over the design and performance of the underfloor heating was doing the following:
Move the building up 100mm and insert a sliver of all the rooms etc. To this set your 85W/m2 etc
that method is easy to control as you set up and individual system etc especially good if you want to test the system without removing any others.

How interesting, thanks for this Marc, really hadn't though about that method
