Hi dears
when I want to apply " Air flow and ASHRAE 62.1 Ventilation " see the message that "Failed to read GAIA Input data" !
Do you know why?
before apply this section, I should be do any thing else?
Thank you
Make sure that for any project you do the first few steps, especially important are 'Select ASHRAE Standard' and 'Prototype Data (ASHRAE Baseline)'
Nothing else in the Navigator can work properly without doing these.
The PRM Navigator User Guide can take you through the entire Navigator but if you haven't had training with us yet then I would really encourage it s you can use the Navigator and entire VE PRM workflow properly
Dear Phil
thank you so much for your replay.
actually the problem was I didn't install the Excel on my winXP since I working by Mac and using the parallel winXP for IESve, when I installed the excel it was ok.

ah thanks, that might help others (it hadn't crossed my mind!). We plan to remove the MS Excel dependency in the VE,it is currently used for all autosizing procedures but the development team have started the large task of automating this within VE and so removing the need for the Loads Data spreadsheets.
In the meantime I may propose to them to do a quick check if Excel is installed or not and display an appropriate warning message in case this comes up again.
