Installing Revit plugin

IES's specially developed Revit plug-in Toolbar allows Revit Architecture and MEP users to import their 3D BIM model into IES's software and undertake sustainable performance analysis.

Installing Revit plugin

Post by soulkeeperet »

I have VE Pro and I see that the Revit plugin is already installed and showing up as add-ins for Revit 2009. How do I get the Revit Plugins to show on Revit 2011? (Note: Revit 2011 was installed onto the computer after VE Pro and Revit 2009.) Thanks.

Dear Soulkeeperet,
You can download the revit plug-in separately from our website.
http://www.iesve.com/Support/Download-Centre/

For fixing your problem.
First , un-install the installed plug-in from your control panel.(It is named as IES <VE> Revit plug-in).
Now give a try for installing the newly downloaded plug-in setup.

I hope this has been of some help.

Note:
I am using IES<VE> 6.2.0.1.
Thanks & Regards ,

Hey!

I kind of have a similar problem. I have both SketchUP and Revit installed on my computer. IES plugin appears in the SketchUp interface, but it does not in Revit. How can I get it there?

The Revit and SketchUp plug-ins have different installers so if you have the SketchUp plug-in already then you just need to run the Revit plug-in from the knowledge base to install that too
