When i import dxf, i have used defaults (m and ft) which is not helping. I tried to identify the scale factor by re-scaling in modelIT. However, so far i have been unsuccessful. I also tried between 1 and 0.01 scale as user defined. By default my model is close to a 1000 times larger(x and y) than it should be, however it is not exactly 1000.
Please help.
Thanks.

Re: importing cause out of scale
Hi asesha
Most drawings I use need to be imported in mm by default which normally works fine. However, if sounds like the scale on your drawing could be a bit wonky. I'd suggest going back to AutoCAD and rescaling the drawing there first to ensure it is correct and then re-import into IES. Trying to compensate in IES for a poorly scaled CAD drawing is only going to cause you problems down the line.

Thank you. I tried with inches and it's perfect.
