Apologies for the basic question from an intermittent IES user.
I have previously (I think) managed to rotate my plan view so that an attached dxf is better aligned to the vertical and horizontal axes for drawing cuboids over relevant rooms.
However, trying this at the moment the X and Y coordinates rotate when I rotate view but the angle of the dxf stays the same. Is it possible to rotate things so that dxf elements align with the vertical and horizontal on screen?
Any thoughts/help would be much appreciated.

Re: Rotate View and dxf files
Hi Sam
I have found that the best method is editing the dxf in AutoCAD before importing since CAD has far more tools for making the file exactly as you want it. I'd recommend copying and pasting the DWG to a blank sheet before editing and creating your DXF from it.
