Hi
We are testing different control strategies on an office building as part of our thesis.
We would like to test out predictive control based on weather predictions to allow night cooling etc. when beneficial.
For that, our initial thought was to use the existing weather file but acquire data from "18 hours in the future" of current time point in a formula profile.
Is it possible to do this or is it possible in some other way to incorporate weather predictions to our model.
Thank you in advance.

Predictive control
Re: Predictive control
Unfortunately this isn’t possible, profiles are instantaneous conditions which move with every time-step, there is only one form of control which bases later control on a previous condition.
It is currently a consulting only service so it may not help but I'd recommend having a read over our VE-Scan page on our website.
