Hi
I have just used the constructdxf tool to make a model and I had thought everything went well. On conclusion it has come out as flat sort of with no walls. Anyone know what I can do please. I used to use IES a lot and struggling to get back to form
Thanks

Missing walls
Re: Missing walls
Hi,
It's probably your scale when you brought in the DXF. Click a room in ModelIT and the info bar at the bottom of the screen will show it's floor area and volume, I expect the area will be a lot bigger than you intended and what you are seeing in modelviewer is simply relatively low room heights in proportion to the area

Re: Missing walls
You have different options really.
You can return to CAD and fix it there, this would be a good idea if the original drawings were wrong.
You can import again and this time on the Attach DXF ensure you choose the correct scale so the drawing comes in properly.
You could just use the Scale Selection tool in ModelIT to resize the geometry you already brought in.
