Entering Infiltration Information

Post by burly »

Hi all,

I am doing a BER (Building Energy Rating) using the VE-Compliance module for Part L-Republic of Ireland for a Primary Healthcare Building.

I want to enter infiltration value of 3m3/hr/m2 or its approximate equivalent based on CIBSE guides of 0.1ACH.

My question is which over-rides the other.

If I add an infiltration of 0.1AH under the 'Air Exchanges' tab of the Building Template Manager for each individual thermal template that is assigned to each zone, but I also enter 3m3/hr/m2 under the 'Edit Group Attributes > SBEM Data> Air Permeability at 50PA' tab, which one over-rides the other, or would I be double counting the infiltration?

Thanks

In the compliance module Air exchanges setup up in the building template manager are overridden by the Air permeability set in the Room data for SBEM. As you say you can set all rooms using the edit group attributes tool
