Thanks this worked. My version was 2.5.0 but I still uninstalled it and re-installed. Whatever was wrong this has shifted it. Bizarrely.

Hopefully this thread can help others who might encounter a similar problem.

PC's are stoopid. Thank god I run Macs at home.

Alas it has now reverted back!!!

Its still crashing. Program is next to useless. I also get intermittent crashes on other modules.

Our ModelIT developers have acknowledged a problem with Model Viewer II when trying to run on a PC with certain specs. For more see the 2014 known issues thread
