Yep. I wonder if Terence and Phil have engaged smug mode yet? To be honest, they convinced me from the point they said the BRE had replied directly to the question.

I like to think that this thread was a primary catalyst in getting the BRE to change that wording though, so well done all!

In my mind I picture the guys at IES like this:

One final request...

Following the clarification in the NCM guide could the VE Compliance user guide and the maybe even the wording in the ve-compliance module reflect this clarification?

The guide is not wrong as it stands but on page 25 it wear it states

"Is there mechanical supply in this room?

Tick the box if the room is served by a mechanical ventilation air supply..."

it could say "supply/supply & extract"
