Hi,
Any of you running <VE> version 6 with a version of Internet Explorer 6 or earlier may have noticed the display of the Navigators in VE-Pro looks a bit odd (borders around buttons for example). Well in the forthcoming <VE> version 6.1 this is going to look worse so I would suggest you consider upgrading your Internet Explorer installation before we release <VE> 6.1.
(I would personally recommend IE7 onwards anyway as Microsoft made some great improvements including tabs)
I've done a quick FAQ on this if you would like some extra info http://upload.iesve.com/uploads/staff/1 ... E6_FAQ.pdf.

Re: Internet Explorer 7 or later
I have been using version 6 on IE 6, but I have not noticed the display to be odd. Do you recommend I upgrade? I use other Website Hosting that is not compatible with the newest version of IE, so I am a little apprehensive about upgrading. Are there any other benefits that will come with me upgrading other than these aesthetic changes? Thanks.

Hi,
If all is working then it's fine but I think the tools used by our developers will mean that new functionality added in future versions will mean there is growing potential for things to not look right (reports) or worse not work at all. It's maybe more a consideration for when you next look at upgrading the machine, I think Microsoft only supports later versions of IE on the latest Windows.
