importing fuzzy logic supervisory controller

Post by Mambo »

I intend to import a fuzzy logic supervisory building controller designed in the MATLAB/Simulink environment to run a simulation on a building model created in the IES virtual environment, from your experience with the IES do you think that such an integration is possible? Is such an application possible within the student version?

Awaiting your quick response.

There is no inter-operability between MATLAB and IESVE, i.e. the building controls are as ApacheSIM or as Apache Profiles or as Apache HVAC dictate. It's not open to external inputs.

Now, it depends on what you want to do, but you can have IESVE determine the various loads, and use the resulting time series as input in MATLAB.

I hope this helps somewhat.
