HI,

I'm trying to run a simulation on Apache and each time I get the following error " Problem assigning default template data"

What does that mean?

Thanks for the help but I am having that error in v6.0.5..

Will that affect my results?

apologies, seems the FAQ on the site has been superseded (we'll get that uploaded soon).

Here is a summary of the workaround to fix this for projects still experiencing this error.
Note: this error shouldn't affect any of your project settings but this workaround will help you stop the error from being displayed when switching between applications etc and is worthwhile to ensure project quality is maintained.

To stop the error from appearing you have to reapply all thermal templates to the rooms.
The easiest way is to use the Room Group Creator to group rooms by the current thermal template assigned (unless you have already set up a similar grouping scheme).
select Tools >> Room Group Creator
select "By Thermal Template" then hit Create grouping scheme from current rule button.
You will now find a new by thermal template grouping scheme and the rooms should be assigned to groups in this based on thermal template
In apache select each group and reassign the thermal template to all of those rooms.

When you have done this the error should stop appearing.
