Level 3, 4 & 5 EPC Exams

Post by jogger »

Hi, I am to sit the Level 3,4 & 5 exams on EPC Assessor. Has anyone done this exam?

I am quite sufficient on IES and have recently undergone training. I think the level 3 & 5 are about the model and Level 4 is multiple choice questions.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction of what type of questions will be asked, I can imagine questions like maximum U values etc.

Also any info on how to zone a room for Lighting would be useful.

Thanks :P

ho ho ho...

I'm not surprised there's no replies here.

"Hi, I'm just going to sit my finals and was wondering if anyone could tell me what questions will be in this year's exam?"

OK, I know the analogy isn't quite there... but Goddamn!

I'd suggest reading the official Part L2A document, think of the general sort of areas that building control generally like to concentrate on and review any training notes that IES gave you when you were in with them for the L5 training. Unfortunately when I sat in there was no printed notes (or even PDF - thanks guys) but I think they issue them now.

Zap.
