Hi
Can anyone tell me the trick to getting data on surfaces in Vista or VIsta pro? The results page says "no data to display". Is there a setting I need to check or is this data typically in the standard apache simulation?
Sorry if this question is answered in a manual somewhere. I have looked but without success.
Thanks

Re: surface data
Hi,
To see the surface results you need to choose the appropriate variables in the Detailed output for selected rooms section in the Simulation Settings Output Options dialog. When you start the sim click on Output Options and ensure the variables are selected (e.g. surface temperatures, incident solar flux) and select rooms you are interested in.
Then in Vista you will see you can view results for variables at surface level.

Re: surface data
Hi,
I am using IES VE 5.9.1
Do you know if I can see the heat gains and losses through each building element surface (windows, walls etc.).
When I select the detailed results for the rooms before simulation I could only see the surface temperature, Ext surface incident solar flux, Int surface incident solar flux, Ext surface incident solar power and Int surface incident solar power. However no heat transfer rates for the selected surface.
Can you help me for solving this.
Thanks,
Murat
